Creative Source was an American R&B group that flourished in the 1970s. Known for their soulful, funk-infused style, the group was formed by ex-Fifth Dimension member Ron Townson. Their most notable hit was a cover of Bill Withers' "Who Is He (And What Is He to You)?" which displayed their signature fusion of tight harmonies and raw, emotive vocals. Despite their relatively short existence, Creative Source made a significant contribution to the development of R&B, setting a precedent for future soul and funk groups.
