Dinosaur L

Dinosaur L was a musical project led by Arthur Russell, an avant-garde cellist, and composer prominent in the 1970s and 1980s New York music scene. The group was known for their experimental approach to disco and post-disco, blending these genres with elements of funk, jazz, and minimalism. Their most influential work, '24→24 Music', released in 1981, became a landmark in the underground dance music scene. Russell's innovative production techniques and his signature cello playing gave Dinosaur L a unique sound that influenced a broad range of artists in multiple genres.
