Don Bryant is an American rhythm and blues singer and songwriter, known for his soulful, bluesy sound. Born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1942, Bryant began his career as a songwriter for Willie Mitchell's Hi Records label, penning hits for various artists including his wife, soul singer Ann Peebles. His most notable song, "I Can't Stand the Rain," has been covered by numerous artists and is considered a classic R&B track. Despite his significant contributions to the genre, Bryant's solo work remained largely unrecognized until the 2010s when he made a successful comeback.
