Double Exposure

Double Exposure is an American, Philadelphia-based vocal group, primarily active in the 1970s. They are best known for their soulful, disco-infused sound, showcased in their hit "Ten Percent," which is notable for being the first commercially issued 12-inch single. The group consisted of James Williams, Joseph Harris, Charles Whittington, and Leonard "Butch" Davis, all of whom had previously been members of the group United Image. Despite their relatively short period of activity, Double Exposure significantly contributed to the disco era, influencing the direction of dance music into the late 20th century.
