Du-Ettes

The Du-Ettes were a mid-1960s American soul and R&B duo comprising of Barbara Livsey and Denise Burse. They were best known for their songs "Every Beat of My Heart" and "Sugar Daddy", which blended traditional gospel influences with the popular Motown sound of the era. Despite their brief stint in the music industry, the Du-Ettes are remembered for their harmonious vocals and the unique blend of soul and R&B in their music. Their contribution to the genre, though less recognized, added to the rich tapestry of 1960s American soul music.
