Dum Dum Girls is an American indie pop and noise pop band, formed in 2008. The band was originally a solo project of lead vocalist Dee Dee (real name Kristin Gundred), who later assembled a full lineup. Notable for their lo-fi aesthetic and poignant melodies, Dum Dum Girls fuse elements of 1960s pop, shoegaze, and garage rock. Their influential works include the critically acclaimed albums "I Will Be" (2010) and "Only in Dreams" (2011), which have contributed significantly to the modern revival of dream pop and noise pop genres.
