Eddie and the Hot Rods were a British pub rock band active during the mid to late 1970s. Known for their energetic performances and distinctive blend of rock 'n' roll, punk, and R&B, they played a significant role in the pre-punk movement. The group's most successful single, "Do Anything You Wanna Do", reached number nine in the UK Singles Chart in 1977. Though their lineup has changed over time, lead vocalist Barrie Masters remained a constant presence until his death in 2019.
