Eddie Cooley

Eddie Cooley was an American rhythm and blues singer and songwriter, best known for co-writing the much-covered hit song "Fever." Born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1933, Cooley's distinct musical style combined elements of soul, blues, and early rock and roll. His most significant contribution to music was "Fever," which he co-wrote with Otis Blackwell; the song was later popularized by artists like Peggy Lee and Elvis Presley.
