Edward Hamilton and the Arabians

Edward Hamilton and the Arabians

Edward Hamilton and the Arabians were a notable 1960s American doo-wop group from Detroit, Michigan. Known for their soulful, romantic ballads, the band featured lead vocalist Edward Hamilton along with band members James Mitchell, Raphael Roundtree, and Valdez Brown. The group achieved considerable regional success with their hits "Baby Don't You Weep" and "Now You Have to Cry Alone." Although their national prominence was limited, Hamilton's emotive vocal style and the group's polished harmonies significantly contributed to the overall sound of Detroit's early soul and R&B music scene.
