Fun Boy Three

Fun Boy Three was a British new wave band formed in the early 1980s by Terry Hall, Neville Staple, and Lynval Golding, former members of the ska band The Specials. Their sound was characterized by minimal, stripped-down arrangements that combined elements of pop, punk, and reggae, often featuring unconventional percussion instruments. Fun Boy Three is known for their hit singles "The Lunatics (Have Taken Over the Asylum)" and "It Ain't What You Do (It's the Way That You Do It)," the latter in collaboration with Bananarama. Their incorporation of social commentary into catchy pop songs was influential in the new wave scene.
