Gabriel and the Angels was an American pop and doo-wop group, active in the early 1960s. Led by Gabriel Dell, a former member of the Dead End Kids, the band is best known for their novelty hit, "The Angel's Listened In." Their musical style combined elements of R&B, rock and roll, and doo-wop, a distinctive blend that set them apart from many of their contemporaries. Despite their short-lived career, Gabriel and the Angels left a significant mark on the doo-wop genre.
