Gary and The Hornets were an American pop rock band from Franklin, Ohio, active during the mid-to-late 1960s. The band consisted of the three DeClercq brothers: Gary, Greg, and Steve, aged from nine to thirteen when they first started. Their music blended pop, rock, and bubblegum pop, with their most successful track being the upbeat "Hi Hi Hazel", which hit 14th on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1966. Despite their youthful lineup, the band's contributions to the pop-rock genre and the novelty of their success at such a young age has cemented their place in music history.
