Gigi & the Charmaines were an American girl group active during the 1960s, notable for their contributions to the R&B and Northern Soul genres. The group was composed of lead singer Gigi Griffin and backup singers Marian "Pinky" Jackson and Jerri Jackson. Though they never achieved widespread fame, their distinctive harmonies and soulful sound, as demonstrated in tracks like "I Don't Wanna Lose Him" and "Eternally", made a considerable impact on the Cincinnati music scene. Their influence can be seen in the later work of other Northern Soul artists.
