Gogi Grant was an American pop singer best known for her number one hit "The Wayward Wind" in 1956. Her style was characterized by a powerful and emotionally charged delivery, unique among female pop singers of her era. Though her popularity was brief, Grant's distinct voice and style continue to be influential in the pop music genre. Her most significant contribution to music history was her performance on the soundtrack of the 1957 film "The Helen Morgan Story," where she provided the singing voice for the film's lead actress, Ann Blyth.
