Hugh Mundell

Hugh Mundell was a Jamaican reggae singer and songwriter who emerged in the late 1970s. Known for his distinctive, emotive vocals and spiritual lyrics, Mundell's music was deeply rooted in the Rastafarian faith. He is most notable for his influential album "Africa Must Be Free by 1983", produced by Augustus Pablo, which has been recognized as a classic of the roots reggae genre. Despite his untimely death at age 21, Mundell left a significant impact on the reggae music scene.
