Hungry Chuck

Hungry Chuck was an American country-rock band formed in the early 1970s, known for blending elements of blues, rock, and folk music. Notable band members included Peter Stampfel of the Holy Modal Rounders and the Fugs' co-founder Steve Weber. The band's self-titled album, "Hungry Chuck," released in 1972, is considered a significant contribution to the country-rock genre. Despite their short-lived existence, Hungry Chuck's unique sound and musical style left a lasting impact on the development of roots music in the United States.
