Ian & The Zodiacs were a British rock and roll band, prominent in the early to mid-1960s. Formed in Liverpool, the group was led by Ian Edwards and was part of the Merseybeat scene, a musical genre that blended rock, skiffle, and beat music. Although not as internationally renowned as their contemporaries like The Beatles, they were significant in their influence on the Liverpool sound and were one of the few British bands to break into the German music market. Their cover of "The Crying Game" stands as one of their most notable works.
