Classic Commander Cody! This is a cover of a very early Coasters single, recorded in 1954 when they were still called the Robins. But they were already teamed up with songwriting team Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, and this track--though not a hit at the time--presaged their string of Leiber-Stoller-penned hits later in the decade. The flip is just as good... prime Bill Haley-styled rockabilly. This copy has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
