Incidentally, the 1974 version was also a #1 Country hit, and both versions were hits long before Whitney Houston showed the good taste to record the song in 1992, thereby finally bringing its charms to the pop and soul masses. Inspired by this revival, Dolly teamed up with Vince Gill to record the tune again in 1995! And how about that gorgeous picture sleeve, with its glowing portrait of Dolly on the front.
