Stretchin' Out (In A Rubber Band)/ Physical Love

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original factory sleeve. This is a beautiful copy of bassist William "Bootsy" Collins' first single on his own. Collins had earlier been a part of James Brown's band from 1969-71 and then part of George Clinton's Parliament/Funkadelic troupe starting in 1972. In fact, Clinton co-produces this debut single for Collins. Later Collins singles were typically credited to Bootsy's Rubber Band, named after this influential single, which is an edited version of a 6:52 album track. Note: This 45 has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
