Originally released on Uptown 732. This is an amazing Motown-style remake of the Dell-Vikings doo-wop classic, with all of the original doo-wop vocalizing completely gone. It's a brand-new song, and a great one at that. This single places at #106 in Kev Roberts' Top 500 Northern Soul singles list. The flip side of this great reissue is another Gloria Jones track that is so good it also makes Kev Roberts' list.... even higher than this one, in fact! Note that both tracks benefit from the same producer/arranger team.
