Like the Magic Kids track on the flip of this cool single, this outing by the Chicago-based Smith Westerns is clearly in the genre I'd call "Beatlesque." It's a delightful uptempo number, the group shows how deeply they've mined the Beatles' sound. It's a great, uptempo tune that offers a fresh alternative to the darker sounds on the market today.
