Smith Westerns was an American indie rock band formed in Chicago, Illinois in 2007. The primary members were Cullen Omori, Cameron Omori, and Max Kakacek, who crafted a distinctive blend of glam and garage rock. Their signature sound, characterized by lush melodies and lo-fi production, is particularly evident in their breakthrough album, "Dye it Blonde" (2011). Despite their dissolution in 2014, Smith Westerns' youthful and nostalgic style had a significant influence on the indie music scene of the late 2000s and early 2010s.
