Yes, this song started out as a Country hit in this version, sung by the author's son. The Orioles picked it up shortly thereafter and of course recorded the version that most folks know about today. The terrific, uptempo B side is credited to 'Darrell Glenn and The Rhythm Riders.' This was a non-album single. Note: This copy has Near Mint labels with a touch of ringwear on the A label (see scan). The vinyl has enough scuffs and tiny abrasions to grade EX. The audio grades a strong EX, with only very light surface noise.
