Yes, this song started out as a Country hit in this version, sung by the author's son. The Orioles picked it up shortly thereafter and of course recorded the version that most folks know about today. The terrific, uptempo B side is credited to 'Darrell Glenn and The Rhythm Riders.' This was a non-album single. Note: This beautiful grades very close to Mint in appearance (Labels, Vinyl).
