JoBoxers is a British new wave band that emerged in the early 1980s, known for their soul-influenced pop sound. The band was formed by ex-members of Subway Sect, including vocalist Dig Wayne and bassist Chris Bostock. Their biggest hit, "Boxerbeat", showcased their signature upbeat tempo and catchy melodies, demonstrating their ability to blend rock 'n' roll with a distinctly British pop sensibility. Although their time in the spotlight was brief, JoBoxers made a significant contribution to the UK music scene of the early to mid-1980s.
