Joe & Ann were an American rhythm and blues vocal duo active during the early 1960s. Comprised of Joe Rivers and Ann Cole, they were best known for their soulful harmonies and emotive performances. Their signature sound combined the raw energy of blues with the polished, melodic structure of pop. Although they only released a handful of singles, their work had a significant influence on the development of soul music, particularly their most notable track "Gee Baby", which became a standard in the genre.
