John Mayall's Bluesbreakers is a seminal British blues band established in the 1960s, and led by multi-instrumentalist John Mayall. The band is known for its traditional blues sound, heavily influenced by American southern blues. Historically, the Bluesbreakers have been a launching pad for some of the most famous musicians of the era, including Eric Clapton, Mick Fleetwood, and Peter Green. Their most influential work is perhaps the 1966 album "Blues Breakers with Eric Clapton", which is often credited with reviving interest in the blues genre in the United Kingdom.
