Johnny & Jackey were an American soul and R&B duo active in the 1960s, comprising of Johnny Bristol and Jackey Beavers. Known for their soulful harmonies and rhythmic beats, they were one of the early pioneers of the Detroit soul sound. The duo is most recognized for their singles "Someday We'll Be Together," later covered by Diana Ross and The Supremes, and "Baby Don'tcha Worry." Bristol's songwriting and production work after the duo's split, particularly with Motown artists, further cemented their influence in the music industry.
