K-9 Posse was an American hip-hop duo active during the late 1980s. Comprised of Wardell Mahone and Bobby "Demo" Monroe, they were known for their fusion of rap with elements of funk and R&B. The group's self-titled debut album, featuring the hit single "Ain't Nothin to It," was produced by the influential Russell Simmons. Despite their short-lived career, K-9 Posse's contribution to the early development of hip-hop music is noteworthy.
