Kid Dynamite was an American punk rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, active from 1997 to 2000. They were characterized by their aggressive, fast-paced musical style, heavily influenced by the hardcore punk scene. Notable band members included Jason Shevchuk and Dan Yemin, both previously of the influential hardcore band, Lifetime. Despite their brief existence, Kid Dynamite made a significant impact on the punk genre with their self-titled debut album and its follow-up, "Shorter, Faster, Louder", both of which are considered seminal works in the hardcore punk genre.
