The L.A. Express is an American jazz fusion band that was active primarily in the 1970s. Notable for its significant contribution to the fusion of rock and jazz, the band was led by saxophonist Tom Scott and also included renowned drummer John Guerin. The L.A. Express is best known for its close collaboration with singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell on her critically acclaimed albums "Court and Spark" and "The Hissing of Summer Lawns".
