Lew Kirton

Lew Kirton is an American soul and R&B singer who began his musical career in the mid-1960s. Known for his smooth vocal style, he first gained recognition as a member of the pop group The Invitations, which had a hit with "Skiing in the Snow". Kirton's solo career, most active in the 1970s and 1980s, is best remembered for the singles "Heaven in the Afternoon" and "Just Can't Get Enough", both of which exemplify his sultry, soulful aesthetic. Despite his limited commercial success, Kirton's influence can be traced in the works of modern R&B artists.
