Little Willie Littlefield was an influential American R&B and boogie-woogie pianist and singer who was active in the mid-20th century. Littlefield's style, characterized by his percussive piano playing and a strong, expressive voice, significantly contributed to the development of modern rock and roll. One of his most notable works, "K.C. Loving" (1952), was later covered by Wilbert Harrison and became a massive hit under the title "Kansas City". Littlefield's music had a profound impact on the blues and R&B genres, and he continues to be recognized for his role in shaping modern American music.
