Liz Lands

Liz Lands was an American soul and gospel singer active in the 1960s, notably associated with the Motown record label. She is best known for her powerful vocal performances and her blend of gospel and soul music. Her most significant work is arguably "We Shall Overcome," which was used as an anthem during the Civil Rights Movement. Despite her limited discography, Lands' music holds a significant place in Motown history.
