Loose Ends

Loose Ends is a pioneering British R&B and soul group that emerged in the early 1980s. The original line-up, including Carl McIntosh, Jane Eugene, and Steve Nichol, became known for their unique fusion of R&B, soul, and jazz. They made significant contributions to the British soul movement with influential works like "Hangin' on a String (Contemplating)" which was the first British record to top the U.S. Billboard R&B chart. Loose Ends' distinctive sound, characterized by complex electronic rhythms and smooth vocal harmonies, has left a lasting impact on the genre.
