Los Indios Tabajaras was a Brazilian guitar duo formed by brothers Natalicio and Antenor Lima. Known for their distinctive blend of Latin and classical guitar styles, they gained international fame in the mid-20th century. Their most significant work is their 1953 hit "Maria Elena", which showcased their intricate guitar harmonies and became a classic in the easy-listening genre. The brothers' self-taught mastery of the guitar and their adaptation of classical techniques to popular Latin rhythms significantly enriched the international guitar repertoire.
