Lothar & The Hand People

Lothar & The Hand People

Lothar & The Hand People was an American psychedelic rock band active from 1965 to 1971, known for their pioneering use of the theremin and Moog synthesizer. The band, consisting of members John Emelin, Rusty Ford, Tom Flye, Kim King, and Paul Conly, was one of the first to integrate electronic instruments into rock music. Their distinctive, experimental sound, featured in albums such as "Presenting... Lothar and the Hand People" (1968) and "Space Hymn" (1969), influenced the development of electronic and progressive rock genres. Despite their short duration as a band, their innovative approach to music production has left a lasting impact on the music industry.
