Major Harris

Major Harris was an American R&B singer, most notably a member of the vocal group, "The Delfonics," in the early 1970s. Known for his smooth, soulful voice, he embarked on a solo career in 1974, achieving his biggest hit with "Love Won't Let Me Wait." His style was characterized by romantic ballads and soft soul tunes, heavily influenced by the Philadelphia soul sound. Despite his relatively brief peak in popularity, Harris's contributions to the R&B genre are recognized for their emotiveness and distinctive vocal stylings.
