Marlin Greene was an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer prominent in the 1960s and 1970s. Known for his work in the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, his style was deeply rooted in the Southern soul and rock genres. He contributed to the production of several notable records, including Sledge's "When a Man Loves a Woman". Despite not achieving wide-spread fame as a solo artist, Greene's influence on the music industry, particularly in the development of the Muscle Shoals sound, was significant.
