McGuinn, Clark & Hillman was a country rock supergroup formed in 1977 by Roger McGuinn, Gene Clark, and Chris Hillman. All three members were veterans of the influential folk rock band The Byrds, and their music together was characterized by tight harmonies and a blend of rock, country, and folk influences. Though their tenure was short-lived, with only two albums released before Clark's departure in 1980, McGuinn, Clark & Hillman's work is significant as a reflection of the enduring musical chemistry among former Byrds members. Their self-titled debut album, which included the Billboard Top 40 hit "Don't You Write Her Off," is perhaps their most notable work.
