Merv Griffin

Merv Griffin was an American television host, musician, and media mogul, best known for his talk show, "The Merv Griffin Show", and the creation of hit game shows "Jeopardy!" and "Wheel of Fortune". Born in 1925, Griffin began his career as a singer, his style grounded in traditional pop and big band music. His 1950 hit "I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts" sold over three million copies. Despite his musical accomplishments, Griffin's lasting impact lies mainly in his contributions to television, where he used his musical talent to compose theme songs for his shows, including the iconic "Think!" for "Jeopardy!".
