Mother Earth is a Canadian blues, rock, and folk band, formed in 1967. Known for their distinctive blend of musical styles, the band achieved significant recognition in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Key members included vocalist Tracy Nelson and guitarist Michael Bloomfield, both of whom contributed significantly to the group's innovative sound. Their most influential work, "Living with the Animals" (1968), is considered a classic of the psychedelic blues-rock genre.
