Mr. Flood's Party was an American rock band from the late 1960s and early 1970s. Their music style was a blend of rock, country, and blue-eyed soul, displaying the diverse influences of the period's popular music. The band was chiefly noted for its lead vocalist, Barry Tashian, who was the former leader of The Remains and later became part of Emmylou Harris' backing group. Although not achieving significant commercial success, their album "Mr. Flood's Party" (1971) is remembered for its distinctive sound and innovative songwriting.
