Pat Boone is an influential American singer, actor, and writer. He rose to prominence in the 1950s and 1960s, primarily known for his pop and gospel style, which often involved covers of rhythm and blues songs by Black artists. Boone's clean-cut image and easy listening style made him a popular figure during this era, with signature hits like "April Love" and "Love Letters in the Sand".
