Percy Faith was a prolific Canadian bandleader, composer, and arranger, known for his lush orchestrations and innovative easy listening style. Active primarily from the 1940s through the 1970s, his work significantly influenced the development of orchestral pop music. Notably, Faith's instrumental arrangement of "The Song from Moulin Rouge" topped the charts in 1953, and his 1960 album "Theme from A Summer Place" became a hallmark of the easy listening genre.
