Perry Como

Perry Como, born Pierino Ronald Como, was an influential American singer and television personality who enjoyed a career spanning over half a century. Known for his relaxed, easygoing style and smooth baritone voice, he became a significant figure in the transition from big-band to solo pop singing. Embodying the post-World War II ideal of the laid-back crooner, Como had numerous hit records, with notable ones including "Catch a Falling Star" and "Magic Moments". His success on television, particularly with "The Perry Como Show", solidified his position as one of the most popular and enduring entertainers of the 20th century.
