The Phil Upchurch Combo was an American rhythm and blues band active during the 1960s, led by guitarist and bassist Phil Upchurch. The band, known for its blend of jazz, soul, and blues, had a significant impact on the Chicago music scene. Upchurch's distinct guitar work, which combined elements of blues and jazz, was a hallmark of the Combo's sound.
