The Polecats are a British rockabilly band formed in 1977. Notable band members include Tim Worman (a.k.a. Tim Polecat) and Martin "Boz" Boorer, who have significantly influenced the rockabilly genre. Their most influential work is arguably their cover of David Bowie's "John, I'm Only Dancing", which reached number 35 on the UK Singles Chart in 1981.
