The Premiers were an American garage rock band from San Gabriel, California, active in the mid-1960s. Known for their raw, energetic sound, they achieved their biggest hit with "Farmer John," a cover of a Don and Dewey song. The band consisted of brothers Lawrence Perez and John Perez, George Delgado, and Frank Zuniga. Their music, characterized by driving rhythms and gritty vocals, played a significant role in the development and popularity of the garage rock genre.
